Terms of Service

Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and at least 18 years old.

The Service

Minus provides research and decision-support tools for talent-market analysis. The Service can help define a market, organize professional information, compare potential candidates, and produce evidence-guided Talent Maps. Features and data coverage may change as the Service develops.

Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and must promptly tell us if you believe it has been accessed without authorization. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties.

Subscriptions, credits, and billing

Current plan prices and included monthly credits are shown on our Pricing page and at checkout. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period until canceled. One credit represents the right to generate one completed Talent Map. When credits reach zero, a new map cannot be created until credits refresh or another plan is activated. Credits are not cash, are not transferable, and may be used only with the Service.

Creem acts as merchant of record and handles checkout, payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, invoices, and subscription management. Your purchase is also subject to the terms shown by Creem at checkout. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card details.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a subscription through the subscription-management link in your account or the Creem customer portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access ordinarily continues through the end of the current paid billing period. Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated at checkout, fees already paid are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds. Contact us if you believe a charge was made in error.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• violate any law, privacy right, employment rule, or source-specific term;
• make unlawful discriminatory decisions or facilitate harassment, surveillance, or abuse;
• submit information you do not have the right to process;
• misrepresent generated research as verified fact or as a decision made by Minus;
• probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or circumvent security or usage controls; or
• resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorized access to the Service.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain your rights in search briefs, instructions, and other material you submit. You grant Minus a limited right to process that material only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to submit and use information, reviewing results before acting on them, and complying with employment, privacy, and data-source requirements that apply to you.

Minus materials

The Service, including its software, workflows, visual design, and documentation, is owned by or licensed to Minus and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes during an active plan or authorized trial.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties for authentication, payments, hosting, and configured data sources. Their services and terms may apply separately. Minus is not responsible for third-party services, websites, data availability, or changes outside our control.

No hiring decision or guarantee

Talent Maps, rankings, summaries, and scores are research aids, not employment decisions or professional legal advice. Outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Minus does not verify every source claim, guarantee a candidate’s suitability or availability, or replace human judgment and required compliance review. You remain responsible for every consequential decision.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, limit, or discontinue features for operational, security, legal, or product reasons. When a material change adversely affects a paid plan, we will use reasonable efforts to provide notice through the Service or your account email.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Minus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill. Minus’s total liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or misuse the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—will remain in effect.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them. These Terms are governed by applicable laws, and disputes may be brought before a court with proper jurisdiction unless applicable law requires another process.
